Installation
Mixed media on paper, acrylic rope, acrylic paint on wooden strips
Berlin Weekly, Berlin

The Berlin-based artist Katja Pudor deals with the process of artistic work as a social space in different constellations and with different media. For the installation "Archaeological record" wall, floor and ceiling of Berlin-Weekly will be transformed into a space of overlapping thought and action structures. The installation raises the questions how the "recent past" (Walter Benjamin) as past and present at the same time can be made visible. In the sense of an "archeology of the present", different sediments of memories, meanings and references are released and incorporated into the artistic process.
